Google+ Berding Surveying - 3D Laser Scanning | CAD Design | GPS Surveying (Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Southeast Indiana)

Unlike engineering and multi-disciplined design firms with survey departments, Berding Surveying specializes in only Land Surveying. Without a design component, we do not compete with our clients who are design professionals. Our clients have repeatedly found that outsourcing what has become a specialized service eliminates the overhead and down time expense associated with maintaining in-house survey crews.

In addition to conventional surveying systems, G. J. Berding Surveying has acquired the next generation of equipment available to the surveying profession with the purchase of several Trimble R6 GNSS systems.

The GPS system allows for the collection of data at millimeter accuracy without the need for line-of-sight between points on the ground.  Precision geodetic equipment enables the computation staff to handle virtually any control project.  Combining GPS technology with conventional methods allows Berding to create an efficient approach to many surveying and mapping tasks.

Computations, survey drawings and plans are prepared by our technical support staff using six (6) CADD stations.  AutoCad 2017 and Carlson Survey, along with Bentley Microstation, are the software programs most regularly used to reduce survey data and prepare finished drawings.

The firm has completed extensive projects involving right-of-way acquisition by the Ohio Department of Transportation.  This past experience and the completion of mandated technical training has allowed the firm to become prequalified for ODOT and KDOT projects.

3D Laser Scanning and Modeling services was introduced in July of 2001.  Employing a Leica C10 long range scanner and a FARO Focus 3D phase based scanner, millions of millimeter accurate points are captured  for modeling and plan preparation, providing solutions across a range of industries.

Berding has two (2) FAA licensed remote UAS pilots on staff.  This allows us to collect data from the air, furthering our offferings to our clients and expanding what we as surveyor's can do.
